The family-run pub is headed by general manager Kelly Cherry and the kitchen is led by head chef Jan Hvizdos who is classically trained and worked at the Fat Duck Group.
Hvizdos has created new menus for the pub which are influenced by modern European and classical British tastes.
There is also a well curated wine list and plenty of beers and spirits available to ensure the perfect visit.
Menu highlights have included Nori powdered puffed pork crackling (as a nibble); belly of free-range Suffolk pork with heirloom carrots and warm celeriac remoulade; and chargrilled cauliflower ‘steak’ with almond milk emulsion, curried raisins and smoked almonds.
Plenty of sides and puddings are also offered at the Mole & Chicken.
