As its name suggests, the venue offers smoked and grilled foods and provides beers and wines sourced from on the best producers – particularly within wines where only small, family-owned vineyards are used.
The best farms are used to source meat from and an onsite butcher breaks down the carcasses for the kitchen to use.
The site is a sister venue to previous listee – the Pig and Butcher – but offers a completely different menu including smoked bone marrow with pickled shallots, sourdough and landcress; Gloucester Old Spot pork chop with smoked apple and black pudding; and buttermilk pudding with raspberries and shortbread.
