The 16th Century black and white building, situated deep in the heart of Herefordshire countryside, is surrounded by the natural beauty of the River Lugg valley and is run by Andy Link and George Parkes.
Link and the team have developed a menu that showcases the very best the region has to offer, with a strong focus on core ingredients complimented with a well thought balance of flavours and ingredients.
Everything at The Riverside is made and cooked freshly on-site, including its stone-ground spelt bread, hay and meadowsweet ice creams and Lavender fudge.
Sustainability and ethical sourcing is core to the pub offer. Link and Parkes grow and forage more of their own produce than ever and challenge themselves to restrict food miles. The pub kitchen garden is a major source of ingredients for its menus as well as its heritage orchard, small holding and Lugg Valley for wild herbs it forages.
