The Feathered Nest Country Inn is a pub, restaurant and inn set in the picturesque village of Nether Westcote.
The building started life 350 years ago as a malt house later being transferred into a pub. It is nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with views over the Evenlode Valley.
Head chef Renemar Pinedo and his team offer a modern British menu, prepared using locally sourced ingredients at this 3 AA Rosette venue. Provenance is key to its success and it focuses on developing key relationships with the best suppliers to keep consistency of quality.
Dishes on the menu have something for everyone. Lighter dishes include a soft shell crab bao bun– pickled carrot and cucumber, shredded lettuce, crab and siracha may; slow-roasted crispy pork belly – Asian cabbage, verjus, grapes, bacon and Honey Roasted Asian Duck – creamy mash, crispy wonton, fennel, mandarin, duck jus and Cotswold venison loin – stew pot, parsnip, mash, cavolo nero, venison jus. There is also a six-course tasting menu available as well as a designated vegan/vegetarian menu.
