This gastropub takes advantage of the produce on its doorstep with a strong range of local suppliers, including a bespoke gin.
The 19th century pub also grows its own fruits, vegetables and garnishes in its own garden.
Guests at the historic post house can enjoy dishes such as crispy monkfish scampi, seabass, red mullet, white crab meat, linguine, squid ink wafer and samphire. For vegetarians, the pub offers dishes such as a rosemary semolina gnocchi, served with roasted squash and pumpkin seeds.
Menu highlights have included pulled pork croquettes with truffle mayo, baked apple puree and parmesan; beef fillet, beef sin and smoked brisket with onions, beef and potato terrine and beef sauce; and vanilla panna cotta with blackberries, crumble, blackcurrant sorbet and peppered meringue.
Alongside a selection of fine starters, mains and desserts, the pub also has a strong range of classic dishes, each made to perfection.
