A cosy, relaxed country pub with rooms, the Abbey Inn offers a seasonal menu created by chef director Tommy Banks.
With its own regenerative farm just a stone’s throw away from the pub, dishes feature a variety of produce from the land.
The farm is home to a herd of grass-fed Dexter cattle, Herdwick sheep and a drove of rare-breed pigs reared especially by the Banks family for the menus.
This is in addition to field-scale crops and adjacent three-acre restaurant garden too while dishes also showcase the abundant seasonal produce growing in the hedgerows around Oldstead, nurtured by the team to produce exceptional quality ingredients for guests to enjoy.
