Awarded a Bib Gourmand by the Michelin Guide in both 2016, 2017 and 2018 and a place in the Good Food Guide, customers will find everything they need for a relaxing and restorative weekend away, a pint with friends or a chilled Sunday lunch with the family.
Having worked at some of the country’s top restaurants, including St John and the Hand & Flowers, head chef Matt Gill has returned to the countryside he grew up in to open his first solo venture.
With a passion for British food, the menu features seasonal and local dishes, which change daily – as often as Matt’s mood in fact.
Wherever possible, Matt sources produce from within the Hundred itself.
Standouts from the menu have included rock oysters; to braised hare with carrots, shallots and beer; or pheasant and bacon pie.
